Many Jay Chou news ^_^

Well well, this year Jay Chou come to sg this June for his concert and although I didn't get a chance to go but there's so much news of him going on in which I wanna share! In fact, I did my part in entering the contest through omy in March. The contest ended really fast within a week I think, cos I've sent the link to my friend but then it was too late. =(
Anyway in May, there's still a chance to win the tickets by giant supermart but I have to buy at least 3 of the participating items? That was so hard since I didn't need them. I know it'll be this hard to win the tickets. (T_T) But anyway, I just took the entry form from the supermart there as a thing to keep even though I didn't enter the contest. lol.

Bought the magazine one week later which was a little too late too cos it was the previous issue that has the contest entry. (¬_¬) Duh, why am I missing things out??

I don't think blonde suits him at all but I love this shot of him. It made me discovered that he has 3 moles on the left side of his face which coincidentally, I have them too! Although the position of my moles is not exactly the same place but it's almost at the same area. How cool is that!! It feels so good to have such unique similarities as my favourite singer. haha. (^o^)

So here comes the rest of Jay chou news!!

Jay looks like 28, but this body is like a 50 year-old.

He met up with Vincent Fang in Sg since Vincent Fang is here to film a movie.

Jay show his 8 pack for only 3 mins plus and the rest of the concert he was fully wrapped up. (*^◯^*)

I just watched it and the thing is that the anime itself is not that funny or interesting. But it's Jay's voice that made me smile. =) haha. Cos it's the first time I hear his voice for an anime character. He sounded so cool and the male character drawn was kinda handsome! lol. And also, Jay actually took this opportunity to promote his latest movie The Rooftop. =D I think for any anime to be successful and popular, the storyline has got to be interesting in the first place. Even by getting Jay chou to help promote... I will only go listen to his voice that's all. The supposed 'cold jokes' aren't even funny at all imo. I don't know what others would think of it. I don't feel the urge to watch other episodes at all. O_o

A host was too excited to see Jay chou and interview him but he ended up having a irregular heartbeat and entered the hospital. （；゜０゜）Omg, why can't u get excited only when u see him in person?? The host did not see Jay Chou in the end. What a waste!!

That's all! I hope he's gonna come here again to promote his new movie. And more often for concerts! Let me have a chance to win at least? I miss all the fun of this. I will wait!~ (⌒▽⌒)

Chocolates mood

I suppose this time is a good excuse for me to eat lots of chocolates cos Christmas is gonna come this month. hahaha. But I'm the one who have been buying all this chocolates for myself and not like it's friends who gave me and I have no choice but to eat it! lol~!! yeah naughty me and now that I have ulcer. argh. Probably from eating too much? oops..

I bought this few:

Meltykiss seems to be such a hit I saw many people buying at watsons. In fact I bought cos of that! I thought it would really be nice since many people seem to like it. [or are they buying it as presents for other people instead?] But in the end it didn't taste as good as what I thought it'll be. It's all individual wrapped, I dun really like tat.. and the taste didn't make me feel it's a nice chocolate or anything. I guess somehow I just can't go along with majority taste. It dun work for me most of the time. lol. Lucky I didn't buy so many packs like what most did. haha.

I'm really amazed at Lindor's quality~! But still the way they packed the chocolates is...argh! One big box but purposely put dividers (¬_¬) There's only 8 chocolates! So little! It may look nice as presentation purpose but so not worth the money like that. But still, the chocolate is smooth and yummy. I dunno if I should forgive cos of that. lol. Anyway, I bought it initially as a gift exchange but in the end, chocolates was not allowed as a gift. oh great, so I have to eat them all.. Good or not!

Well, I'm really addicted to Pop Choc these days~!!

And it's KitKat's~!!
I'm so glad tat there is this mini size version of KitKat and I love it so much~! It's really a great snack to eat while watching tv! But I always ended up eating more than I should. lol. The usual 2 bars is ok enough but this pack is definitely gonna make u eat more. but is so yummy lah! I wonder why this type of KitKat is not available in supermarkets! And why only Japan has so many fanciful types and flavours of KitKat? Why aren't they all available over the world? Why not near to my home? It's so yummy why not many people crazy for it but for something like...bubble tea?  I dun get it!! I really dun get most people's taste here. The 'in' things here are so strange. (,_,)

I found out that KitKat in Japan is very popular most probably cos it rhymes with kitto katsu, which means certainly win. Seems like students there will have KitKat so that they can pass the exams. Interesting thing~!! If I have known it earlier in my student days I would have eat it~!! I think it would be sort of a nice encouragement thing or a good luck charm ya and maybe not so nervous [since it's chocolate and would have ease the mood]. Well I guess not many people know about this.. unless u r a fan of KitKat or live in Japan right? I didn't hear of anyone around me who knows of this! Wat a good discovery.


Anyway, just a small news:

Jay Chou is out with a new album this month~!!

I'm just glad with him saying NOT to let Kpop take over. Dun Gangnam style anymore. True~!! I hope Jay will be the big hit and change all this~!! Cpop all along is good [especially with Jay around haha], just that it sort of die down cos of the crazy marketing of Kpop. Tats really sad! I dun like how everyone moves along with the wave...are they really liking something cos they really like it or cos it's the 'in' thing? When I see some people moving on from one singer/group to another, I feel so upset. Are there really any loyal fans around? Why can't one stick to an artiste/group and focus all on them? So wasted.

Never mind. I dun need to figure out what others are thinking. I'm sure there are really loyal fans around although it might be a minority. I would love to be with such people. Let's see. =)

I guess city life is for me afterall...

Went to quite a rural place overseas at a relatives' place in which the environment is so dirty!! I thought it would be a nice place to relax but I got bored very soon. There's nothing I can do there! I thought I can survive without internet, yeah I can but to be there doing nothing is the worst feeling ever! I just ended up keep staring at things as I'm the only youngest person there with no one to talk to. And the life there is just eat and sleep. Oh gosh...

I once thought of going to such rural areas and grow my own vegetable farm and lead a simple life since city life is so stressful. But my experience there made me feel such a decision is a no-no!! Maybe the retired old people would like to live there but as for me, I feel like a good-for nothing. I dun want this kind of life!! I'd rather have some good entertainment watching youtube videos, blogging or something like that in which I'm doing all along. Life can be simple there but it's just too simple!! It's just walking slowly, talking and eating and nothing else!! I feel like I didn't contribute anything significant to this earth at all. And there's simply no interesting life experience at all!! Everyday is the same old routine and so boring. I'd rather be at work, at least I can be doing something meaningful, meeting people and earning money. And I can do shopping!! There's really nothing to shop there and I can't walk around on my own. From there I do realized that I'm really really fond of shopping now. It makes me feel so satisfied and happy able to own things, in which I can never have there. I really can't do without shopping! Life will be so bored to the max. I'd rather be stressed with work [as I'm used to it since young] and can be able to do shopping. Otherwise it's just so not meaningful for me. Like there is nothing to look forward to. So no way!!

Okay, after all my complains. My wish now is to be able to travel around and see the world. I wouldn't wanna stay at the same place all the time. I want a sense of satisfaction and achievement in my life. I dun wanna sit there and do nothing. Anyway, just a little thing that I've done last week:

yes, bookmarks again. haha. I just love to cut and paste them since I dun like some of the old mags I bought [after discovering they have no interesting content somehow]. Might as well make use of it rather than throwing it away. I only did 2 since I feel like doing something for a short break. I'm bad at designing and creating things so probably they dun look very impressive or anything. But still, I think bookmarks like that is quite easy to make and so I prefer to do it. (^_-)- ☆

Last week's newspaper about Jay chou~!

I'm quite slow in realising that he's actually gonna come to sg for the F1 concert. haha but I'm not gonna buy the tickets just to see him. Guess this isn't worth like that. Wonder if there's any fans who bought the tickets cos of him? Think it would be better to get the tickets solely for his own concert. About 2 hours of all his songs is the best entertainment ever! hahaha.

Shopping on Friday~

It somehow seems quite a long ago that I didn't spend some money shopping stuffs for myself. lol. But I just realized the last time I spent money was 2 months ago. Is that considered long? haha. Anyway, I had quite some fun especially I can get something at a sale price~~!! \ (^ O ^) / ♪

Yeah!!! It was a summer sale for this Jay Chou album Exclamation mark! It's almost half the price the usual price. I wonder why is such a great sale but of cos this is a good thing to me. I can save some money!! hahaha. I'm someone who can actually be patient enough to wait for the price of CDs to drop so that I can get a great deal. But sometimes my patience can wear out. So probably depends on how much I wanted to get it I guess. In fact, I wasn't planning to get this album at first. Just went to HMV looking at any new CDs on stock selling. Haven't been there for quite some time since May I think? But I guess it's good that I spotted this on sale! hahaha. Some of his old albums are also on sale but yet this latest album was at the cheapest price. I wonder why too. Dun tell me a lot people dun like it? I dun like the graphic design of this album, colourful but ugly. lol. But I think is the song tat matters. I love most of his songs and love to sing at Karaoke but have been a long time since I practise his songs. Actually kinda guilty towards Jay. lol.

This is the first time I got extra goodies along with the CD. (ˆ_ˆ) There's this necklace/chain of an anchor, a notebook and a postcard in it. I usually just buy the CD itself cos I care more about getting a cheaper price but this time this was a really one great thing I got!! I'm really so happy now!! But then the goodies stuffs dun have any Jay face in it. So kinda disappointed at this. Well well.

Also went to Daiso to get some nonsense stuffs. Bought a few snacks and I spotted this:

This powdery sweet I used to eat during my childhood!! I love such sweets as they melt inside ur mouth quite instantly.  But then, it isn't the same flavour I tasted back then and seems like the ones I wanted is no longer selling. I didn't see it anymore. Well, at least I had some sweets to eat now. Just that the feeling isn't quite the same anymore. (￣^￣o)

And bought these other 2 items cos they look so pretty to me. lol. I love doing a bit of origami and craft stuffs and the paper really attracted me! I dun know when will I have the mood to do using the items but still I think I better buy it first cos it's not everytime I can get them on the shelf. haha I do wish I have some free time to do such nonsense too. xD

Oh yes. and my lovely magazine. I bought mina for the first time!! With Namie on cover!! How pretty!!

There's interview page of her. and I love it!! The format looks kinda like VOCE mag. but there isn't anything about different diet methods. It's more of a fashion magazine. Have some good tips about skincare and makeup too. So this is also nice to read. =)

Lastly, This promoting Namie's new album at the last few pages. Ar~ Really tempted to buy that Namie album.. I shall plan to get it in the future~~

Oops. and I must do my Kagrra post soon! Have been dragging it cos I wanna make sure I did correctly. Coming up next~! 

My Favourite 90's Chinese songs!

Brings back memories!! I suddenly have the urge to look for the songs that I've loved so much listening as a kid. At that time I was so young I dun really bother about looking and buying CDs of those songs. Right now, with internet, it's so much easier to find!! Here are the ones I remembered:


Mostly are guy's songs I guess. Lol. I love the fact that I can sing them in Karaoke~!! And I'm still adding them to the playlist!! There are certainly many old songs I've left undiscovered. haha.

I kinda regret not looking up the old songs back then as a student after the 90s... I remember loving the 999 roses song so much and yet I dun even know how to sing it! Until I found them at youtube. What a waste. I could have been an expert at singing the 90s songs way long back as a teen. haha. And singing them now at karaoke makes the people around me think that I'm so old! Why dun anyone love those songs now?? Now I began to insist on singing them. Only those 90s songs really touched our hearts, and leave such beautiful memories in us. Yes, I love them simply because it brings back my beautiful sweet time memories as kid. I love the simple life back then. How nice if time just stops at the 90s. I think it's the best moment ever!!

I'm so gonna pledge to remember how to sing all those songs above and be an expert in it. haha. Sometimes I wanna watch 百万大歌星 so that I can get a chance to see if there's any old songs that I've forgotten. But those programme are pretty lengthy sometimes. Oh ya, and those songs related to those 90s dramas are really really nostalgic!! Miss them so much!! Why only at the 90s they can produce so much great works??

Anyway, I'm not gonna care if people are calling me old or what. I'm gonna sing these old songs as much as I pleased. They are truly songs that sang with feelings and meanings, unlike now new pop songs mostly have no meaning and dun really touch our hearts. The power seems to be gone.
