I've been watching a few animes' episode 1 only so as to determine if it's worthy for me to watch. I feel that the first episode has to be interesting enough to grasp my attention. Or maybe it's just my crazy, unable-to-figure-out mood. None of them made me wanna continue watching. Until I chanced upon Another. So my conclusion is, it has got to be the genre!! Well, the storyline plays a very big part for me too. It probably is also a coincidence that I watched an anime with one-word title and start with the letter 'A'. lol. And both had 12 episodes. (O_O) Interesting enough!! I've managed to complete this anime within 2 days. That's probably the first time I've done something like that which is exhausting indeed. I've watched 4 episodes on Friday and 8 on Saturday!! I hate my curiosity mood now. I can't control it! Lol.
What's the thing about this anime is that it really aroused my curiosity. Who has caused all this deaths to happen? Is it really a curse? At first I thought Misaki Mei was a ghost, and maybe there's something that might have to do with those creepy dolls, but argh...it isn't. (¬_¬) What's the class rule that everyone has to uphold?? ← I think this one is not clearly stated at the beginning so I'm as equally as confused as Kouichi. IS it that everyone should never mention about the extra person? Or that should treat the existence as non-existent? But yet it didn't worked. And why just no one wants to tell Kouichi what has happened. They could have just let him know by giving him a written note if they didn't want to say it out. (~_~;) Why do they have to blame Mei? It doesn't help to change the situation, and it's Kouichi that keeps looking for her and talking to her isn't it? Will all this ignoring the existence of the extra person thing be able to stop the curse? That is something that I don't think it'll work in the first place. Lol.
All the gruesome deaths that is happening, it even made me think that the moment if anyone wants to tell Kouichi, something bad will happen to them, as though Kouichi was some jinx. But of course he wasn't. And when the story progress to everyone got so anxious and it became a massacre, was indeed scary. It's definitely worse than whatever curse that has happened. More like a disease spreading to everyone. ԅ(¯﹃¯ԅ) And I find it really dumb that everyone went after the wrong person, besides thinking that the dead must be Mei, they ended up losing their lives instead. Classmates suspecting and killing each other wasn't a nice scene indeed.
In the middle of the story, I got so tensed too at a point where I look at spoilers to see who's the culprit. In fact, I still don't quite get it, that it was Kouichi's aunt being the assistant homeroom teacher. How did she cause everything to happen? Just cos of her existence and so that is why they have to send the dead back to death as mentioned by Katsumi? But everyone can see her during the summer trip to the beach isn't it? So everyone can see the dead, not just one person who can during Katsumi's time as a student. And that means, everyone will still kill the wrong person when they asked the other whether he knows the person whom he just killed. No one can be able to discover the extra person. And so, Mei should just tell everyone that it was Reiko [Ms Mikami] since she had the 'colour of death' eye isn't it? Why everything turn out to be so complicated!!
But really, is it just cos of EXISTENCE? It's as though this is an existence-or-not show as the topic. There's also this part that confuses me where everyone will forget and the number of desk in the class just can never be right. The Misaki Misaki part mentioned confused me too. A surname and a first name too. lol. Probably cos the name appeared too many times. (´･_･`)

In conclusion, it would just seem to be as a series of unfortunate events that so happens to the class of 3-3. But all in such a gruesome way is indeed bad and not understandable. So...maybe they should have a shrine in their school? Or a prayer session in the class? That's what I can think of. The ending may not be nice at all. But it's still a nice short anime that once again made me have many questions. Well, it's just a story anyway... Maybe I shouldn't be thinking so much. Haha. I also got tired for watching so much yesterday. It's really like a marathon to me I haven't had for a long time.(T ^ T)
Now that I'm done with this aim, I have to find another one now. Another~~ Oh bother.. xD
